Devin oversees research, education, and outreach programs and helps conservation director Erik Patel with in-country projects. From 2010-2016, Devin lived in Andasibe, Madagascar, where he developed a captive breeding facility for threatened amphibians with the community-run group Mitsinjo. He holds a degree in zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and lives on site at the reserve with his wife, Samina, and daughter, Nakina.
